Just got my grades for the spring semester- straight As! YES!

ugh

I have a paper due tomorrow, an extra credit exam tomorrow, an exam tuesday, an exam wednesday, a 15 page paer due wednesday, and a hell of a lot of cleaning/packing to do.

yet i have no motivation, and am messing around on facebook/blogs.

i’m going to regret this in the coming days.

inauguration

Friday was inauguration- there was great food & awards & of course, oaths of office to be taken. I had a pretty good time- although I still don’t think it’s hit me that I am the SGA Vice President (might have to do with the fact that my term doesn’t officially start until the 15th at 6pm).

The rest of the weekend was cool too- I just hung with Nick (my boyfriend) and watched movies/chilled. It was very relaxing.

Finals are coming up (last day of classes is Tuesday), so this weekend was definitely needed considering all of the finals/papers I will have to take/write in the next week and a half.

exam

exam #1 starts in an hour. #2 is at 11:30. # 3 is at 2:30.

 

I was freaking out yestersday about having three exams and not really being prepared for them, but after studying, I found the material to be really easy. Almost too easy. If the practice exams/problems are similar to the test, I’ll be fine.

Here’s hoping for no tricks up my professors’ sleeves.

phone’s broken. completely. no insurance on it. contained all of my contacts, as well as my calendar and therefore all of my appointments/meetings/etc for the next few months.

damnit.

on a happier note, i’m almost completely rid of that annoying pneumonia!

off to bed. race for autism in the morning.

Scavenger Hunt pt. 2

So we didn’t win :(

But it’s okay- finding some of the things on that list was crazy, and while it took a long time, it was so much fun.

I have a couple of other things to update on, but I have to run to class so I’ll post tomorrow morning. I just wanted to let you all know how the hunt went!

This week is crazy….

So as I mentioned in my last post, I went out of town this weekend. My boyfriend goes here, but is from Maine, so we drove up there (which took 8 hours each way) to meet his family & celebrate his birthday. Anyways, it was amazing, but I obviously didn’t get much work done :/

We got back on Monday night, and I had an exam and a speech presentation to give the next day! I got up super early to go to work at 6am on Tuesday, and studied the whole time I was there. Luckily, I was able to do really well (I think) on both, but I was definitely ridiculously stressed out for all of Tuesday.

I also have assignments due this afternoon that I didn’t get to get done over the weekend- I’m taking a break from them now to write this, actually- but I think I’ll get those done too.

On top of all that, it’s secret sapphire week for my sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma. I’m taking a little, which is basically a new member who I am supposed to mentor and support during her new member process. I know who my little is, but she doesn’t know that I’m her big…yet. This week all of the littles get tons of gifts & clues from their big, and they have to try and figure out who they were matched with. Friday is Revelation, where we finally reveal ourselves to them (in a creative way). Sapphire week is so fun, and so exciting, but also really time consuming- making a huge basket of gifts and getting them secretly delievered every day of the week is hard work!

I’ve been relaxing too, though- listening to music & hanging with friends. I just can’t wait for the weekend!!
