Rush!

So the Panhellenic Association’s [[PHA]] sorority rush started this past Thursday! PHA is comprised of four sororities- Delta Phi Epsilon, Phi Mu, Alpha Sigma Alpha, and Phi Sigma Sigma [[that's the one I'm in!]]. Recruitment was started with PHA Orientation- basically a time for all of the potential girls to get a chance to meet the women in each chapter. I’m really excited about the potentials this year- a ton of girls came out to the event [[68]] and a lot of them were really awesome.

I’m especially excited about rush because I will be taking my first LITTLE! Basically, I will be assigned a new member to “mentor”- I will help her learn her information, support her, and just be awesome to her in general I absolutely cannot wait to be a big!!!

We have events all next week, and then will be handing out bids [[basically an offer to join our chapter]] to some of the girls on Monday, September 22. I’ll find out who my little is later that week, but my little won’t know that I’m her big. The following week is SECRET SAPPHIRE WEEK! Basically, all wekk long I shower my little with gifts & give her clues to help her figure out who I am [[they're hard clues, though]]. At the end of the week, we have revelation, during which we use a creative way to reveal the bigs to the littles.
